Description: The new superstructure for the Epping
Bridge was completed within a span of six weeks. The structure is
the same width as its predecessor, yet it features a far more durable
frame in its half inch hollow superstructure. This new superstructure
was used to create the deck of the new bridge and tied into new
abutment walls and wing walls that were also created to help hold the
bridge in place and provide the steel with some protection from the
natural elements of the Beaver River that runs through here.
